Thrive After 60

Feel stronger, move with confidence and enjoy life on your terms

Getting older is inevitable. Feeling weaker, less steady or unsure how to look after your changing body doesn’t have to be.

Thrive After 60 is a practical, uplifting workshop that will show you how to nourish your body, build strength, improve balance and protect your independence.

Because life after 60 shouldn’t be about slowing down.

It should be about feeling well enough to keep saying yes to the life you want.

Imagine this ……

You leave feeling:

  • More confident about how to look after your body as you age

  • Clear about the foods that support your strength, bones and energy

  • Equipped with simple exercises to improve strength, balance and mobility

  • More aware of the wider factors that influence your wellbeing

  • Motivated by a realistic, personalised action plan

  • Reassured that it is never too late to make a positive difference

Thriving after 60 doesn’t come from changing everything at once.

It comes from doing a few helpful things regularly enough for them to make a difference.

What’s Included

Your Wellbeing Wheel

We’ll begin by looking at the different areas that contribute to a healthy, fulfilling life after 60. You’ll reflect on what is already going well and identify the area where a small improvement could have the greatest effect on your overall wellbeing.

Eating Well After 60

Our nutritional needs change as we get older.

This practical session will help you understand how food can support your strength, energy, bones, digestion and independence.

Plus, you’ll create your own personalised action plan, so you leave knowing exactly where to start.

You’ll also complete a simple Nutrition MOT, helping you recognise what you already do well and choose one realistic improvement.

This isn’t about dieting, cutting out food or trying to be perfect. It’s about giving your body more of what it needs to keep you active, strong and well.

Strength, Balance and Mobility

Strength and balance aren’t just about exercise.

They affect your ability to get out of a chair, climb stairs, carry shopping, enjoy gardening, play with grandchildren and feel confident when you’re out and about.

During this practical and supportive movement session, you’ll explore gentle exercises designed to help improve:

  • Everyday strength

  • Balance and stability

  • Flexibility

  • Joint mobility

  • Confidence in your body

There is no expectation to be fit or flexible, and the exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities.

Relaxation and Meditation

Looking after your health isn’t only about food and exercise. Making time to slow down and relax also supports sleep, energy, emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life.

You’ll be guided through a calming meditation to help you:

  • Slow your breathing

  • Release tension

  • Quiet a busy mind

  • Feel calmer and more grounded

  • Experience a simple relaxation technique you can use at home

No previous meditation experience is needed. All you need to do is get comfortable and follow along.

About your session guides

I’m Anne, a certified and registered Health Coach with UKIHCA. I am passionate about helping midlife women improve their energy, sleep, balance their hormones, and overall well-being to feel amazing again.

My approach focuses on practical, realistic habits and simple lifestyle changes that fit into everyday life through nutrition, sleep, movement, stress management and self-care.

I’m Danielle, I know what it feels like to be disconnected from yourself. Running on empty, overwhelmed, and longing for space just to breathe. My own journey back to myself is what led me to create Rose Up This Way, a space rooted in the belief that healing isn't about fixing — it's about returning to who you already are.

I offer yoga and craniosacral therapy in Cheltenham, and everything I do is shaped by one intention: to help you slow down, feel safe in your body, and find your own sense of ease. The Stress Reset Workshop brings that same warmth and care into a shared space, so you can take your first real breath — and leave knowing exactly how to keep going.
